Lakeside property
We now have a lake at the bottom of our block. Flood water moving down the Murrumbidgee is starting to spread out of the river proper and into all the little side creeks. We have one at the bottom of our property that flows through the reserve.
Our house is well above the predicted level so we are safe enough, but I will probably be able to cast a line from my deck. Or perhaps a yabby trap or two (Singapore chili
A bit of excitement and a nice view for Christmas, life's never dull out here in the boonies.

Hey Jonsey Its nice to think you get to play in the same water that rushed through ONC just last week! ENJOY!
It is pretty amazing Duckie, to be able to sit at the breakfast table in the morning and watch the river flowing past my back boundary. Listening to the frogs and birds calling, to see the early morning mist rising off the water and feel the cool breeze flowing through the house. Through the day canoes and tinnies cruising past with folk out for a bit of sight seeing. And later the choppers and light planes flying over with more tourists.
